Simran was born in Sydney to parents who migrated from Malaysia in search of greater opportunities for their future children. From a young age, hard work and tenacity in the face of adversity were attributes instilled in him by his parents.
After seeing the positive outcomes that financial advice provided for his mother when he was young, it became apparent that helping people take action to reach their goals was something that he wanted to be part of.
Simran has now been providing financial planning advice to people from all walks of life for more than a decade. Having spent the majority of his career as a financial planner in one Australia’s largest financial institutions, he founded Abundant with a focus on creating an advice practice that means more than just numbers, but one that is about people, focussed on helping his clients make what they thought wasn’t possible, a reality.
When Simran is not helping his clients realise their financial aspirations, you will find him keeping active playing soccer in a local competition, embracing his love for travel, and following his favourite football team, Liverpool Football Club.

Tim was born in the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. His passion for good Malaysian and Chinese food, family-and-community-focused values and his work ethics comes from his parents, who were both corporate professionals, and are still actively involved in their local church and are hands-on parents.
Tim moved to Brisbane and completed his Bachelors Degree there before working as a research consultant with an advertising and business consulting firm. Tim however found his true calling when he started working in the financial planning industry as he was able to see first hand the positive influence of good financial advice in his family and in the lives of his clients.
Over the last decade plus, Tim has worked in different financial planning organisations in Brisbane and Sydney, from large institutional to smaller boutique practices, looking after engaged young wealth accumulator and seasoned retirement planning clients. With Abundant, Tim wants to fulfil his passion of helping his clients realise that the best is yet to come, and that the abundant life is available to all.
Tim’s abundant life sees him having quality time and regular long runs with his wife, and travelling to new places and collecting new experiences every year. He is also a keen triathlon, cycling, Formula 1 and Manchester United Football Club follower.
